Hard to believe it has been 59 years since The Monkees first burst onto NBC screens on September 12, 1966. None of us knew what was ahead — just four kids with guitars and tambourines, tumbling onto a soundstage at dawn in paisley bell-bottoms and boundless energy. Then, almost overnight, the whole world was watching. I remain deeply grateful for the laughter, the music, and for every fan who has carried the spirit forward. The memories are priceless, the madness unforgettable — and the journey, even now, still has chapters left to write.
